Deeper

There are many layers of life

Many of which I have never seen.

So many people to meet 

So many emotions to discover

So many facts lying in wait of discovery.

These layers go beyond my comprehension

Even what I think I know

I actually know a fraction of.

I'm trying to go deeper,

To find the layers under the surface

Those are the ones that are rarely seen;

Ones so often forgotten.

And yet the more layers I discover

The more of life I know

The more beauty and richness I experience;

Can you

Lead me to the One that encompasses all?

One who transcends every layer and yet
Permeates them all at one time?
I just want to go deeper
To understand -
Because this layer that I am stuck in
Can't possibly have all that I need.
