I'm turning over a fresh leaf;
I'm changing things.
I won't be like them -
I'll be different; I must be.
I'm taking a new path
One they never traveled.
Though we have the same roots
I'll find a different way of living -
One closer to the sun.
I'll reach toward that place
For there is warmth and peace there.
I'm going to be different.
