Through the Eyes of a Child
Her laughter carried to the edge of any room and only the hardest of hearts could maintain a straight face in her presence. There was something about her, something wonderful, something almost unattainable. She moved from here to there with a lightness of foot as of a bird and her voice sounded with all the beauty of the finest. One could not help but notice the joy that radiated from her tiny frame, for it shined on even the dullest of days. Though she was but a child, she had already found what they had been searching for their whole lives: she had found the secret of life. Her little brown eyes had seen what they in their whole lives had failed to see. Their knowledge of the workings of the world hindered their search instead of helping them; they were blind to what was most obvious to her. She found the golden key which forever opened the door to life, peace, and understanding.
Sometimes the answers to life are much simpler than we would think.
